Alignment of Interest

In recent times there has been much debate about whether the interests of the wealth managers and those of their clients are aligned. In its detailed survey of the fund management industry, The Economist magazine concluded that:

“The fund management industry has done very well but mainly for itself”

In selecting a manager to help you preserve and grow your wealth, there is one golden rule to follow. We call this the Old Man’s Advice, others would simply call it Common Sense:
